Matina is a kind and beautiful soul. Her home is warm and welcoming. After just a few minutes of conversation, she began to receive connections with spirits with whom I sought communication and some I didn’t but I assumed would be there based on my life experience. Matina received messages that only I knew what they referenced. The spirits were able to explain things so that I received understanding and closure. Things I had felt or questioned for a very long time but things I’d never spoken about to anyone but my trauma therapist. Things that I did not know as a child but were sensed and felt. And now I knew they were true and why.
Matina was very caring and understanding and recognized something about one of the spirits that was very true about who he was as a person but she would have never known about him.
I had never met Matina before. I got her card at an event but did not speak to her at all. I never even saw her due to the crowd.
In the future if I have something with which I need to consult the spirits, I will book an appointment asap.
I can’t recommend her highly enough. Her entire presence was a gift.

I want to start out by saying Matina is a beautiful person. She is so welcoming into her lovely home, her presence is so comforting. I had a very emotional session with her, I left the session feeling lighter and happy. I have many new things to ponder over now, and the perspective she gives is nice.
I've never been to a medium before so I didn't know what to expect. I don't think I can comment too much on her mediumship because I have nothing to compare it to. She was on the nose quite a few times, and I do believe she is gifted. I got to learn a lot about her from her wonderful stories and anecdotes (she is amazing to sit and chat with, I had such a nice time with her). As a believer who is skeptical more often than not, I believe she is more gifted in perceiving people than she is perceiving the spiritual, and that aids her in the experience she is selling.
Regardless, she has inspired me in many ways, and her company was a wonderful. I would and likely will pay for her services again, and I encourage you to. Take what she says with a grain of salt, take what resonates, leave what doesn't. Definitely audio record because it is a long and deep conversation, and have an open mind.

TRAUMATIZING: I looked up ethical mediumship practices after my reading, like "Do no harm". What a responsibility Matina has. I'd like to point out that the 2 hr reading lasted 1 hr 40 min. At that point, I was told that my ancestors were backing away and "had done all they could for me". No follow up questions were allowed; however, I did get a pop quiz on what I'd learned. So be aware that you may not get 2 full hrs/pop quiz. She began by telling me who she'd studied with plus gave a 20 min lesson on the afterlife and earth school, based on her education, so that took about 30 min. These are things that could be presented on her website. I did not interrupt out of politeness, but was bothered by it. I was ready to not say much because I read how to prepare on her website. Maybe Matina was having an off day, but I asked one question in particular at the end, and she said it didn't matter. Of course it mattered because it mattered to me. Interestingly, 30 minutes in, she randomly said that spirit has no qualms when someone on earth is murdered, because it means that they had done something bad in a past life. It was a bit later on that she said my life was payback due to karmic debt and I chose everything that has been done to me -- by my family. This was not evidential information, which is what I paid for. This is before I told her that I was a child abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, labor trafficking, and medical malpractice survivor whose life has been threatened seriously several times and I've almost died at the hands of the people who were supposed to love me. And this was after she said my great grandmother said I tend to blame others. No, that's false. I hold them accountable and there's a big difference. No child/human deserves a life of hell on earth; the only people who think so are my abusers (and Matina, apparently). She said since I'd survived all that, I was free to live the rest of my life on my own. So wait, what? Thanks? She then said I don't have to talk to my abusers again. Thanks. I am aware that they still want me dead, so there's that. Look, her bias prevented a clear channel I was expecting. After I shared a little about my life, which I wasn't planning on, all of my ancestors "feel sorry for me" and love me unconditionally, and the shaming stopped. Btw, I'm not looking for sympathy, Matina. That's really not helpful. And even though I did come away with some good from it, it was nothing I didn't already know and I told her that, like how they are always with me. I framed it positively, saying it was confirmation. But if murdering someone in this life is indeed payback for a past life, how does one reconcile that with my dead pets at the hands of my abusers, or the innocent children who are murdered every day? It makes no sense. I thought you said everything in heaven is love? I'm not saying that Matina is not gifted with abilities; and I am saying this directly to Matina -- You have a great responsibility to be ethical in your readings. I took what I needed and left the rest, but words carry weight and I was left to deconstruct the session and use my discernment after the fact, that is why I'm writing this review. I felt judged by YOU, not my ancestors. You are strictly the MESSENGER, not the therapist/teacher. I was asked some very pointed questions that did not deserve an answer. I even reminded you to consult my loved ones because I knew you were speaking from your own mind at crucial moments. And the way you spoke to me as if I were able to make easy choices at certain points in my life simply because I was an adult was unethical, cruel, and uninformed. You asked me what I got from the session and here it is: YOU were the lesson sent to me today.

I recently had a private reading at a festival, and unfortunately, it was nothing like I expected. Having lost several loved ones, especially my father, I was really looking forward to the possibility of hearing messages from them.
We started with some small talk, and once I mentioned I was in a long-distance relationship, the entire reading seemed to shift into her personal opinions about my relationship. Rather than focusing on messages from loved ones, I felt like I was being judged and criticized, which was incredibly upsetting. I did receive a little bit of a spiritual message, but unfortunately, that was such a small portion of the session.
I left feeling extremely disappointed. I paid for a spiritual reading, not relationship advice or criticism. This was something I was genuinely looking forward to, and unfortunately, it was not at all what I had hoped for. I honestly wish there was a redo button because the experience has really been weighing on my heart.

I have been to Matina twice. The first time was so spot on i couldn’t believe it. Even things that didn’t make sense at the time made sense later. My second experience was completely different. Nothing made sense, it felt like she was fishing for answers and even after given the answer still got things completely wrong. Maybe it was an off day, I’m not sure, but i was very turned off to the amount of time spent on her political views and telling me to vote as well as being asked to record a video of the reading for her Instagram. Matina is an extremely nice person I’m just not very happy with the second reading and probably won’t be back for a third time.

Matina has a very calming presence about her and a lovely space for in-person sessions. She was very honest about how her abilities presented themselves as well as her challenges as a medium, which I appreciated. She informed me that it is technically possible for no spirits to come through, which she reported if this happened, she would not charge me. Her first question to me as she began channeling was extremely specific and the exact topic I have been processing since it happened. I asked to connect to a somewhat distant spirit and she warned me it can be challenging to communicate with distant spirits sometimes, but it worked and she relayed important messages to me. She allowed me to show her pictures of the spirits she connected with and was very patient while I discussed my feelings about my recent loss. Her dog, Oscar, was very calm and friendly. I first met Matina in 2014- I was in a very bad place with grief and desperately missing my husband. Some how I found Matina. Her reading was detailed, spot on and comforting. So many of my dearly departed friends and family came through it was truly the most wonderful experience I’d ever had! I met with Martina today with my brother and sister in law. I really enjoyed our session together. I especially liked how she stated at the beginning she wouldn't give us a false reading and if our loved one didn't come through then she wouldn't talk about them. Matina was able to connect with my mother and grandmother. She also provided facts to verify it was them. 😇 Matina relayed many messages as well as helped me with some of my other struggles. I had an outstanding reading with Matina. I went to Matina hoping my deceased husband would come forward and he did. She told me things that only my husband would know. Matina helped me to connect with my grandmother, Janie, who had passed 3 years before. She was like a mother to me, and I have struggled to cope with her passing and the circumstances surrounding it. Matina immediately caught on to a grandparent wanting to connect and was able to tell me directly what my grandmother was saying, including specifically mentioning heart issues that my father has and about his personality as well as saying a phrase to me that my grandmother and I would say to each other often. The fine details made all the difference. I came into it wanting to believe, was somewhat skeptical, and left with a fresh understanding of the spiritual world. Sometimes an event that feels like “the end of the world” turns out to be a blessing in disguise. That’s exactly how it was for me.
In 1990, a special three-year relationship I was in ended. To make matters worse, the relationship had been with someone I would need to continue to see every day. I was devastated and distraught.
